Summary


CLEAN, the Climate Literacy & Energy Awareness Network, is a National Science Digital Library Pathway of reviewed and annotated existing online resources relating to key climate and energy concepts. The current CLEAN collection includes nearly 100 digital learning activities for grades 6 - 16, and the website also has suggestions on "teaching with" various climate and energy principles and concepts.

To improve civic science literacy around climate and energy topics.

Context for Use

The resources within CLEAN are diverse and authoritative. They have been reviewed by science and teaching peers who look for scientific accuracy and currency, ease of use and, where appropriate, pedagogical scaffolding.
